There are two filtering options in the multi-functional Apps grid that enables the filtering of data:

Text Filter:

You can filter and sort the ‘App Type’ column, including Document Expiring / Expired. This gives you much more flexibility to manage your list of apps, for instance, filtering all Document Distribution apps with expiring documents.

In the ‘App Type’ filter input, enter the required filter criteria, for instance:

To filter on all Document Distribution apps with ‘Expiring’ documents, enter ‘Expiring’
To filter on all Document Distribution apps with ‘Expired’ documents, enter ‘Expired’
To filter on all Data Collector apps, enter ‘data’

Under the applicable column header, enter the complete text string (or any part of it) to search for all records that match the text string specified.

Date Filter Range:

Click on the calendar icon to select a date and apply the filter.

The Sort Toolbar provides the functionality to sort and filter your apps. Each column can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking on the column name label.

Sorting in ascending / descending order

To sort the data in ascending order for a single column header, tap/click on the column header label once so that the arrow to the right of the column header label is pointing up.

To sort the data in descending order for a single column header, click on the same column header label a second time so that the arrow to the right of the column header label is pointing down.

Defining rows of data per page

To change the number of rows of data displayed in the View Data grid for a given app, enter the desired number of rows in the ‘Rows Per Page’ field and tap/click on the ‘Change’ button.

Once the ‘Rows Per Page’ preference has been set, details of how many rows are being displayed (out of the total number of rows available) can be found in the bottom right hand corner of the View Data grid.

Navigating Multiple Pages of Data

Should the ‘Rows Per Page’ preference result in multiple pages of data, the information in the bottom right hand corner of the View Data grid will indicate as much. In order to toggle between pages, tap/click on the arrows to the left of the ‘Rows Per Page’ label.

Using the single left and right arrows moves the user to the previous or next page of data respectively.

Using the single left and right arrows with vertical lines moves the user between the first and last page in the range of pages respectively.

Show Unpublished:

You can just show all apps in ‘Saved not published’ and ‘Revision not published’ status by selecting the ‘Show Unpublished’ button at the bottom of the apps grid.

You can view the ‘Published History’ of each Data Collector or Document Distribution app by clicking on the ‘Date’ or ‘Revision not published’ in the ‘Published Date (Latest Version)’ column against the required app.

You can copy the published history by clicking and dragging over the required data, then copy and paste into a document or email.
