Using the ‘Split String’ option for ‘Select’ field types, you can split out numeric values in the Select options entries for ‘Calculation’ field types.

In the example below, we can use the numeric value after the last pipe | for calculation purposes.

• Specify the split position using: \’0’ to split before the first pipe, \’1’ to split between pipe positions 1 & 2 etc. If your pick list consists of numbers only, specify ‘0’ to convert to a number format.

• Using the split string above, the numeric value from the Select options can now be used in \’Calculation\’ fields.
