Data Collector Options provide:

Option to allow URL access to a Data Collector record without the need for the user to have an account setup in AppCan Cloud
Option to hide ‘Photo Library’ selection from ‘Photo’ field in AppCan XP
Option to change the default 30 day tidy up on an app by app basis
Option to allow only one Data Collector submission version of a record
Option to limit the resubmission of a Data Collector for set number of days

This option allows you to provide access to a Data Collector record (using the URL provided in Exports or via Report Builder reports), without the need for the user to logon to AppCan Cloud.

This is initiated by selecting the checkbox ‘Allow URL access without logon’.

If selected, when selecting a photo field on AppCan XP , option to select photo from Photo Library removed and not available to be selected.

On AppCan XP, a Data Collector record is removed from the device after 30 days from submission date. With this option, the tidy up timeline can be changed by entering the quantity of days required. If not set, records are removed from device using the default 30 days.

Please Note: Changing the Green Cloud record tidy up to greater than 30 days will download records to users devices that fall in the period selected. This could result in long synchronisation times whilst the extra records are downloaded to the users device.

The record resubmission active option allows a Data Collector record to be resubmitted only for a fixed period as below:

When set to 1 day, the record is only active for version updates on the day of record creation (expires at midnight on that day).

When set to 2 days, the record is active for the current day plus 24hrs. 3 days = current day plus 48hrs etc.

When a record becomes inactive all fields become locked (non-editable) and the ‘Submit’ button is hidden from the view.

If a Data Collector Option has been selected for the app, the 3 bar icon will show in red to indicate an option has been selected.
