There are four ‘Advanced’ settings available in AppCan Cloud:

Document Read Message

The default message the user sees on the device when confirming a read document is: “Select Yes to confirm you have read this document”. You can change this if required.  This is a global setting.

Data Collector Image Resolution

This allows you to adjust the resolution of photos captured on AppCan Mobile.  The default setting is ‘Low’.  This is very acceptable for most photo capture.  If you require higher resolution photos, you can adjust to ‘Medium’ or ‘High’.  By increasing the resolution of the photos, it will take longer to synchronise from AppCan Mobile to AppCan Cloud.  This is a global setting.

AppCan Administrator Permitted

If you require AppCan to assist with support of AppCan Cloud, please leave this option ticked.  This allows us to login to your portal and assist with support issues.  If your data is of a sensitive nature, you can turn on this support just for a short duration, to allow AppCan to assist with a support issue.

Password Administration

If an AppCan Mobile user needs to reset their password, or has forgotten both login and password, they will see the name and contact telephone number of the Password Administrator.  This is set by completing:

  • Name
  • Contact Tel No
